FC Rubin drew in a gameweek 2 away fixture against Dinamo Moscow which ended in an 1:1 draw.
The first half was not an easy one for FC Rubin as Dinamo were quite confident in terms of high pressing in the attacking third with lots of tackles and the referee being too indulgent in certain situations. The gameweek 1 hero Sardar Azmoun got injured after Vladimir Rykov´s tackle and was replaced by Aleksandr Bukharov as early as in the 19th minute. As for the half-time, Egor Sorokin came on the pitch instead of Filip Uremovic. Dinamo scored first before the half-time as Chernykh put the ball in the net after Joazinho´s cross.
Right after the half-time, FC Rubin scored as Pavel Mogilevets sent an excellent through ball on to Dmitry Poloz who put it in the net past Anton Shunin. We attacked more in the second half and were close to pick up three points, but the game ended in a 1:1 draw. Since December 2012, FC Rubin have not lost a single game to Dinamo.
